In the beginning of December, the first French army (Free French) is stopped cold in front of Colmar by the fierce resistance of the 19th German army

At the end of January 1945, the French launched a general offensive to destroy the "Colmar pocket". The 2nd corps is tasked to free the town with the help of the American 21st corps.

The first objective is the canal of Colmar in the east. The Americans have difficulties to advance. General Montsabert launches as reinforcement the "groupement tactique 4" (tactical groupment 4 or TG4) to keep moving south. The "sous groupement A" (sub group A or SGA) is leading, and has to take Wickerschwhir's brigde.

Bethouard's tank platoon with a handful of "legionnaires" reach the canal in avant garde. A patrol notices that the bridge was blown up. Only Infantery on foot can use it now. French take their position, waiting for the core of the SGA. A german company, coming from Bischwihr, then tries to cross the bridge.

Best played as German vs AI - DO NOT use scenario default placement for the AI.

(Briefings for both sides included in this scenario)
